Using the componentized architecture ALTIBASE Hybrid DBMS for Embedded has adopted, the developers can remove the features unnecessary for achieving the goals of embedded equipments and embedded applications. For example, PDA terminals which are mainly used by door-to-door deliverymen, require data synchronization with the central server, but the replication feature for high availability is not necessary. In such cases, the developers can simply remove the replication code from the execution file to leave out the replication feature. Utilizing ALTIBASE Hybrid DBMS for Embedded with its componentized architecture, developers can remove the features unnecessary for achieving the goals of embedded equipments and adjust the footprints, so as to configure the embedded system that uses limited resources more efficiently.
